Created in 1950 by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, the museum is composed of two rooms: a main room with the chronology of currencies since 1641 and stamps from Monaco since 1885. The second room hosts rare stamps, Sardinian and French stamps used in the Principality and the first stamps from the time of TT.SS.HH. Princes Charles III and Louis II.
Welcome to my blog about the Principality of Monaco, the second smallest country in the world and the world's second smallest monarchy. You will find here some information about history, tourism, philately, etc.
