Fontvieille

Fontivieille is the newest of four traditional quarters in Monaco. It was constructed after Italian architect Manfredi Nicoletti's design, almost on artificially reclaimed land. The work began in 1966.
Fontvieille has an area of 0.35 km² and accomodates 3 900 inhabitants.
Landmarks in this quarter are the Stadium Louis II and the Heliport.
